Jonathan & Kim

Since I was in college, I’ve wanted to operate and manage a whitetail preserve. I’ve leased and owned land in five different states for over 20 years, and finally my dream of owning a high-fence hunting preserve a reality. My wife and I share a passion for raising whitetails and a love for this majestic animal.

We both felt our native deer’s potential had been maxed out and wanted to raise bigger deer on our ranch. After a long process, we discovered how superior genetics and good nutrition allows these animals to reach their full potential. The result is the Midwestern whitetail featured at Pinnacle Ridge.

I have many priceless memories from my first exotic hunt with my dad decades ago. Which is why I felt a calling to create a hunting experience for future generations to enjoy and create memories with their friends and loved ones.

Kim and I look forward to hosting couples, families, groups of hunting buddies and corporate retreats of all kinds.

See you at Pinnacle Ridge and happy hunting,

Jonathan & Kim

Onsite SCI Scorer

All of your trophy bucks and exotics can be scored at Pinnacle Ridge. We have a scorer officially licensed by Safari Club International (SCI) on the property. All whitetail trophy kills are based on the Boone & Crockett scale.

When scoring exotics, the largest species of any animal killed is scored as a Diamond. The next third percentile is Gold, followed by the next third being a Silver and the next third being a Bronze.

Diet & Nutrition

All whitetail deer are naturally fed with free-range access to superior nutrition. The diet consists primarily of corn, wheat and plant-based foods, which is good for the deer and also harvests top-quality venison. In addition to multiple acres of soybean and sun-hemp (a vegetable protein), our animals have an endless supply of winter nutrition with oats, winter wheat, turnips and clovers.
